A CSR effort was executed yesterday through collaboration between Forest City and Raja Zarith Sofiah of Johor Foundation (YRZSNJ). The initiative involved donation of 75 units of Lenovo tablet contributed by Forest City to 15 schools around the Johor Bahru District and Pontian.

Out of the 15 schools, 7 of them are adopted by Forest City, namely SK Ladang Pendas, SK Tiram Duku, SK Tanjong Adang, SMK Tanjong Adang, SK Morni Pok, SK Tanjung Kupang and SK Pendas Laut which are located in Mukim Tanjung Kupang, Gelang Patah.

Other schools that have received the donation are SK Sungai Durian and SK Serkat for Pontian district. Meanwhile SK Nong Chik, SK Kota Masai 2, SK Bandar Sri Alam 1, SK Cahaya Baru, SK Pasir Gudang 2 and SMK Sri Rahmat are the recipient schools within Johor Bahru district.

During the distribution session, Forest City represented by the Vice Chief Executive officer, Hj. Ir. Syarul Izam bin Sarifudin and Wan Azlaiha binti Wan Abdul Aziz, Manager of Forest City.

In conjunction with Her Majesty The Permaisuri of Johor, Raja Zarith Sofiah Binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah birthday on the 14th of August 2021, the distribution session was conducted in hope that it could assist students in participating the PdPR session as it is the new norms nowadays.
