Johor Digital Economy Center Launched in Country Garden Danga Bay
The Johor Digital Economy Centre (JDEC) headquarter, recently established in Country Garden Danga Bay (CGDB), launched its official opening ceremony on 1st November. The Chief Minister of Johor State Hasni Mohammad graced the event with Datuk Tee Siew Kiong, Adviser to the Johor State Chief Minister, Representatives from Country Garden Malaysia-Singapore Region and other government officers.

JDEC's headquarter at CGDB will include shared office areas, training rooms, live broadcast rooms, Yayasan and JDEC offices, etc. The establishment marks a great milestone for Country Garden in its way for the industry development in Malaysia and Singapore region. The two parties will work together to help develop Johor into a regional center for e-commerce, accelerate the digital transformation of local enterprises, and provide trainings to the local talents to elevate the state's digital economy growth. In addition, the two parties will jointly explore the collaborations with China E-commerce Association, bring in more enterprises, and build a Chinese overseas e-commerce industrial park.

The multiple projects under Country Garden Malaysia-Singapore Region, such as Forest City, Danga Bay projects etc, are committed to continuously bringing in new industrial partners and developing the 8 pillars of industries including e-commerce, tourism, healthcare, education & training, regional headquarter, near-shore finance, emerging technology and smart & green.
This collaboration will kick off Country Garden's endeavors in the industrial development for its long term development in the region.
