These include provision of disinfectant at the front desk for staff and guests to disinfect countertops and clean their hands; increasing the disinfection frequency at the hotel’s public areas, especially the lobby, toilets, lifts and other areas with high human traffic; conducting special training for employees on disease prevention and control knowledge and inspection of staff living areas.

The property management team has adopted several preventive and control measures in all public areas in order to protect the lives and safety of residents and minimize the spread of disease. A “property management emergency plan” was developed to provide a guidance on the roles and responsibilities, the operation and response procedures, as well as the supplies and equipment replenishment plan. Education to the residents and members of public has always been adhered to, and free masks have been provided for the residents. The shuttle buses on the island have been equipped with thermometers to detect body temperatures. Passengers can board the bus only after their temperature is tested as normal and are with their mask on. In addition, the property management team also provides free errand service to provide convenience for the residents.

As for the management of commercial street, all businesses remain as usual. The commercial department has formulated a “commercial emergency plan” and suspended all celebration activities by the tenants to avoid crowds. The tenants are also required to sterilize the shop every day, especially for the F&B shops. Disinfectants need to be added to the tableware cleaning. We have strengthened the risk management of tenants, required them to comply with the relevant regulations and manage the in-and-out of customers effectively.

The golf club has suspended the new bookings for the two courses under its jurisdiction for 15 day, and the driving range was closed for 15 days as well for complete disinfection.
