Forest City(CGPV) Received The Recognition From Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad For CSR Contributions
PUCHONG (Feb 17): Country Garden Pacificview Sdn Bhd (CGPV), the master developer of Forest City, is committed to enhancing lives of People’s Housing Projects (PPR) residents, in support of the government’s National Community Policy or Dasar Komuniti Negara (DKN).
In the official launch of Dasar Komuniti Negara (DKN) or the National Community Policy at Padang Puchong Indah, Selangor on 17 February 2019, CGPV received the Recognition Award & Appreciation Certificate from Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, for its past CSR contributions and future support towards the PPR projects. Among the recipients, CGPV is the only foreign invested company to receive such honour. This is a strong testament and recognition by the Federal Government of Malaysia. Besides the Prime Minister, Ministry of Housing and Local Government Minister YB Zuraida Kamaruddin, Minister of Health Datuk Seri Hj Dr Dzukefly Ahmad, Communications and Multimedia Minister YB Gobind Singh and Selangor Menteri Besar YB Amirudin Shari were also present to award our company for outstanding CSR contributions specifically to the B40 segment.

CGPV will be adopting two projects in Johor, namely PPR Tampoi and the first phase of PPR Sungai Melana. CGPV aims to uplift the standard of living and enhance the livelihood of the residents by carrying out infrastructure upgrades such as road building and community activities like gotong-royong at both sites. There are also plans to enhance and repair the dilapidated playground and sports facilities at PPR Sungai Melana while at PPR Tampoi, it wants to set up a children’s daycare center to promote welfare for women and children.
CGPV has always believed in social inclusion and shared prosperity. In addition to the PPR projects, the company has put in tremendous resources in its CSR initiatives over the years, such as revitalization of the century-old village school, and offering various scholarships to the local students amongst others. CGPV strive to continue such efforts to betterment of society and communities all over Malaysia.
